The Drive airs Sunday nights at 10:30 p.m. on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 in Lawrence, and is simulcast on 49ABC KTKA in Topeka, KS. You can also catch The Drive on Fox College Sports.

D.J. Whetter is the nightside sports anchor for 6News Lawrence and lead producer for The Drive. He’s a 2005 graduate of the University of Kansas, and has been covering everything KU and KSU since May of that year. D.J. was born in California, but lived in Arizona and Ohio before moving to the Midwest for High School. He grew up spending summers in Chicago with his grandparents, and in turn, roots for all Windy City teams, minus the White Sox. When it comes to college athletics, though, he’ll take the Big 12 over the Big Ten any day. D.J. has covered two NCAA tournaments and two bowl games, and looks forward to worrying about both the Cats and Hawks in the Big Dance this March.
